EuroRecord 2009 DAY 4
Day 4 of the EuroRecord 2009. After yesterdays progress everyone was pumped up and ready for another day of record attempts. Changes were made to the group, bringing in a few new people and first load was up by 10am. After 4 attempts with only 1 grip missing we made a quick change of two people, introducing Richard Frame and Pibe into the 51-way attempt for the last load of the day, tension was high and everyone was determined that this would be the one! The aircraft were perfectly lined up on run in and the group exited the 4 aircraft and moved into their slots, successfully taking up all grips and completing the formation and holding it for 7 seconds. After break-off and opening everyone on the ground knew that we had achieved it from all the cheers from everyone under canopy. A huge congratulations to everyone who took part today, a few celebrations tonight and then everyone here tomorrow for the final day of the EuroRecord and hopefully another record broken! nice perspective...
